Allocate meeting minutes to cost centers

 

Admin-only minute allocation

Enabling reporting provides you with the tools to monitor and manage usage and costs.  

  1. Select Admin > Users and groups > Cost centers.
  2. Select whether to Enable cost center reporting.
  3. Select how to allocate meeting minutes:
    • Allow each meeting host to determine how minutes are allocated
    • Allow the host to specify cost center allocation when creating a meeting. This option allows you to also allocate burst pack minutes as needed. There are two sub-options:
      • Allocate Burst Pack minutes based on meeting attendance and duration
      • Allocate Burst Pack minutes to a particular cost center. When selected, click the pencil icon to open the cost center selection workflow.  
    • Always allocate meeting minutes to the meeting’s primary host: allocate, track, and report costs to the primary host.
    • Always allocate meeting minutes to each individual attendee: allocate, track, and report costs by attendee.
  4. Select Save.

When allowing a host to define a cost center. . .

If you have selected Allocate Burst Pack minutes to a particular cost center in the steps above, you must select a cost center so that the host has the option of allocating minutes to that cost center. If you've correctly specified the cost center by clicking the pencil icon and completing the workflow, your choice will appear next to the icon.
