Find solutions to the sign-in issues as a result of licensing updates
Issue
When you launch Dimension, you are presented with the following dialog:
Check Creative Cloud Status
Use the Creative Cloud application to sign in, begin a trial, or purchase Dimension. Learn more about the requirements.
Dimension will now close.

This dialog is displayed as a part of Adobe's licensing process for Dimension.
Causes and solutions
There are several causes which can bring up this dialog:
Sign-in status
In order to use Dimension, you must be signed in to Creative Cloud. Dimension does not have sign-in capabilities directly in the Dimension application.
Use the Creative Cloud desktop application to manage your sign-in status.
Trial or subscription status
Dimension is part of the Creative Cloud services and requires an active trial or subscription. Dimension has a 7-day free trial available. Once this trial expires you must purchase a Dimension or Creative Cloud All Apps subscription plan.
See our pricing page for more details on available plans.
Login devices
Creative Cloud subscriptions allow applications to be installed on multiple machines, but only two can be signed in at one time. If you have signed into multiple machines you may need to sign out on a previous device.
Enterprise configurations
This dialog can appear if you are using an enterprise deployment without the use of the Creative Cloud Desktop application. In this case, contact your IT or Creative Cloud account manager for further assistance.
