Locate your downloaded Adobe installer file.
Right-click the installer file.
Select Run as administrator.
Select Yes when Windows asks for permission.
Follow the on-screen installation instructions to complete the installation.
Error 41 occurs when the Adobe installer can’t access required system files or folders due to restricted permissions. This occurs when your user account lacks permission to modify system files or when installer folders have incorrect access settings.
Follow these solutions to resolve the issue.
Adobe apps require administrator access to install system files and modify registry entries. Before proceeding, ensure that your user account type is set to Administrator.
Locate your downloaded Adobe installer file.
Right-click the installer file.
Select Run as administrator.
Select Yes when Windows asks for permission.
Follow the on-screen installation instructions to complete the installation.
Press Command+ Spacebar to open Spotlight Search.
Type the name of your Adobe installer, and press Return to locate it.
Control-click (or right-click) the installer file and select Open.
If prompted, enter your administrator username and password to continue the installation.
Follow the on-screen installation instructions to complete the installation.
Incorrect file or folder permissions can prevent the installer from accessing required files. Make sure both the installer files and their parent folders are unlocked and that your account has sufficient access.
Right-click the folder containing your Adobe installer files.
Select Properties > Security.
In the list of users and groups, select your username, then choose Edit to change permissions.
Ensure your user account has Full control or Modify permissions.
Select Apply, then OK to save changes.
Restart your computer.
Right-click Setup.exe file and select Run as administrator.
Press Command+ Spacebar to open Spotlight Search.
Type the name of your downloaded Adobe installer, and press Return to locate the file.
Control-click (or right-click) the installer file and select Get Info.
In the Sharing & Permissions section, verify that your account has Read & Write access.
If not, select the lock icon, enter your admin password, and update permissions.
Close the Get Info window.
Double-click the installer file and, if prompted, enter your administrator username and password to complete the installation.
