Apps
If you turn off the Adobe Creative Cloud or CC Library login items in macOS 13 (Ventura) and later, it will disrupt the functioning of your Creative Cloud apps and services. To avoid this issue, keep both login items turned on in your Mac's System Settings.
We strongly recommend that you keep the Adobe Creative Cloud login item (available on macOS 13 Ventura and later) and CCLibrary login item (available on macOS 26 Tahoe and later) enabled in macOS. Turning them off stops many of Adobe's core processes, which are required for the apps to function seamlessly. These critical processes are doing their job even when you're not working in any of your Adobe apps.

Follow the steps to fix login issues.
For Adobe Fonts sync to work, keep the Creative Cloud desktop app running. For Libraries and cloud documents sync, make sure the CCLibrary login item is turned on (macOS 26 and later).
Select Login Items & Extensions.
Scroll to App Background Activity.
Turn on the Adobe Creative Cloud toggle under the App Background Activity section. If you are on macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later, turn on the CCLibrary toggle also.
If you turned on the Adobe Creative Cloud toggle, restart your device, and then open the Creative Cloud desktop app.
You can now access all features and continue working on your apps seamlessly.
If you only turned on the CCLibrary toggle, a system restart is not required. You can launch the affected app instead.
