Error 9 causes installation failure

Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.

Type regedit and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.

In the Registry Editor, navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe Genuine Service\Consent\Retail.

Right-click the ConsentInfo registry key and select Delete.

Go to C:\Users\Public\Documents\AdobeGCInfo and delete the AdobeGCCInfo folder, if it exists.

Restart the Creative Cloud desktop app.

When prompted, select Accept or Deny on the Adobe Genuine Service consent dialog box based on your preference.

• Accept allows Adobe Genuine Service to run in the background and verify the authenticity of your Adobe apps.
• Deny prevents the service from running. You can still install and use your apps, but you may see reminders asking you to allow the service again.

Press Command+ Spacebar to open Spotlight Search.

Type /Users/Shared/ and press Return.

Delete the AdobeGCInfo folder, if it exists.

Press Command+ Spacebar again and type /Library/Preferences.

Locate and delete the file com.adobe.AdobeGenuineService.plist.

Relaunch the Creative Cloud desktop app.

When prompted, select Accept or Deny on the Adobe Genuine Service consent dialog box, based on your preference.
