Learn how to download and install Creative Cloud apps from Adobe Home or the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Install apps for the first time

Follow these steps if you've purchased Creative Cloud or started a trial and need to install apps for the first time.

Sign in to the Adobe Home.

In the left sidebar, select Apps, find the app you want, and then choose Download.

The Apps tab of the Creative Cloud web shows the apps available to launch, install, open in browser, or open in desktop.
The web-based apps don’t require installation. You can launch them in a browser window by selecting Open.

Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

The Creative Cloud desktop app installs automatically and manages the installation. Once installed, your app opens directly and is ready to use.

Note

If you are using an account provided by your school or company, you can request access to Adobe products or services that you don't already have.
