Error 133 causes installation failure

Learn how to resolve error code 133 "More space required to install app" during app installation.

Error code 133 appears when your device lacks sufficient storage or the installation drive has limited space. Follow these solutions in order to complete your installation successfully.

Device doesn't have enough free storage space

Your device lacks sufficient storage space to complete the Adobe app installation or update. 

Free up storage space on your device:

After freeing up space, select Retry in the error dialog box.

Wait for the installation to complete.

Installation drive has insufficient space

This error can occur when the Creative Cloud desktop app is set to install applications on a drive with limited storage.

In the Creative Cloud desktop app, select the Account icon in the upper right. Then select Preferences.

In the left sidebar, select Apps.

Under Installing, select the edit icon  to change the default install location.

Choose the location where you want to install your app.

After selecting the new location, a confirmation message Install location changed appears.

Install the app again.

Note

After changing the location, Creative Cloud will install all future apps to this new location by default.

If the error persists after trying these steps, restart your device and attempt the installation again.
