Error 50 occurs when another application, such as a browser, antivirus tool, or system utility is locking the required files or interfering with the installation process. This prevents the installer from accessing required system resources.

A background app is blocking the installer

To resolve the issue, try the following steps:

Close all open web browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) and any running background processes.

Try installing the app again.

If the error continues, restart your computer and try the installation again.

If restarting doesn't help, uninstall the Creative Cloud desktop app using the uninstaller, then reinstall it.
