Last updated on Feb 5, 2026

Photoshop on the web now supports Creative collaboration (beta), allowing you to edit the same document with your design partners simultaneously.

Note

Creative collaboration is currently in public beta for all users on Photoshop on the web.

Creative collaboration overview

Experience the power of Creative collaboration in Photoshop on the web. This feature allows multiple members of your team to work on the same Photoshop document at the same time. Simply Invite your collaborators, and they can meet you in your document. You'll find which collaborators have joined your document, the layers they are working on, and their edits in the History panel.

Live co-editing is available in Photoshop (Beta) on desktop and the web by invite only

Get started with Creative collaboration in Photoshop on the web

Open Photoshop on the web > Open an existing document or create a new document.

Access collaborative documents

Creative collaboration allows different creators to edit the collaborative documents. When a creator is added to a collaborative document, they receive a notification in Photoshop on the web, along with an email containing a link to the document or a document link from the document creators.

Selecting the Open button will take invitees to the document in Photoshop on the web at photoshop.adobe.com, where they can begin editing the collaborative document. Photoshop on the web is currently supported on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. Please use one of the supported browsers for the best experience.

Select Send to apps  > Open in Photoshop (Beta) to launch the beta app if you prefer to edit the document in Photoshop (Beta) on desktop.

The Send to app dialog box shows the highlighted Open in desktop app option to launch the asset from web into Photoshop (Beta) application.
Open Photoshop (Beta) directly from the Photoshop web to edit collaborative documents.

Once invitees join the session to edit collaborative documents, their avatars will appear next to the Zoom level for the Photoshop web. You can also see what tools others are using on Photoshop on the web. This behavior is currently limited to a selective set of tools.

In Photoshop on the web, the editors’ presence will be shown on the Layers panel to indicate the active layers everyone is working on.
