Using the Data Services Messaging gateway type provided with Adobe ColdFusion, you can create applications that send messages to and receive messages from LiveCycle Data Services ES. You configure the Data Services Messaging gateway and write and test an application that uses the event gateway.
Before you use the Data Services Messaging gateway, become familiar with ColdFusion event gateway principles and programming techniques (see Using Event Gateways). Also be familiar with Adobe LiveCycle Data Services ES.
