Learn how to record yourself directly in the Adobe Express editor and add personalized videos to designs. You can easily preview your designs while recording, and seamlessly reference presenter notes when adding a recording to a presentation.

Follow along with any design to learn how to record videos.

  1. Start with a design in the Adobe Express editor, and in the left panel, navigate to Media > Videos.

  2. Select the Record yourself button, and if prompted, give Adobe Express access to your mic and camera.

  3. In the Record yourself window, use the   icon to select a different connected camera or microphone.

  4. Select Start recording to begin, and when you're done, select Stop recording.

  5. Press the play button to preview the recording and select Reset to delete the current recording or Save recording to return to the editor.

Tip:

Once the video is processed and placed on the page, select Remove background, to blend the recording seamlessly into your design. You can further enhance and customize using crop, move, adding animation, and other effects.

Note:
  • The recording is also saved to Your stuff, allowing you to access and use it in different designs later.
  • The maximum length per recording is 5 minutes.
  • The feature is available on all Adobe Express-supported browsers except Mozilla Firefox. 
  • Currently, you can only preview still images of your designs while recording.
  • This feature is available within the editor for all file formats except when creating Webpage and Drawing.
