Import Figma designs into Adobe Express
Import Figma pages, frames, or individual layers into Adobe Express using the Figma add-on.
You need a Figma account with access to the file you want to import and access to Add-ons in Adobe Express. Full and Dev Figma licenses have unlimited access to the add-on capabilities, while Collab and View seats have daily limits.
Search for Figma, select the add-on, and then select Add.
Open the Figma add-on and select Connect.
Sign in to your Figma account and authorize access when prompted.
In Figma, open the file you want to import and copy its URL.
Return to Adobe Express, paste the URL in the URL link field, and then select Continue.
Select the page, frame, or layer you want to import.
Select an import option, and then select Import:
- Native Import: Imports supported content as editable Adobe Express elements. Use it when you want to continue editing the imported content in Adobe Express.
- Rasterize: Imports the selected content as a flattened image. You can move and scale the image, but you can't edit its individual elements.
You can use both import methods in the same design. Import editable content natively and rasterize individual elements when you need to preserve their appearance.
Review the imported design and make any required edits in Adobe Express.
Import considerations
Editable content
With Native Import, text remains editable, shapes and vectors are recreated as editable objects, and images are positioned to match the Figma layout. Frames retain their original dimensions and aspect ratio.
Fonts
The add-on matches fonts by name when the same font is available in Figma and Adobe Express. If a font isn't available in Adobe Express, a fallback font is applied and identified as Font Not Available in the import summary.
Effects and complex elements
Some effects may require adjustments after import. Gradients, patterns, and certain masked or combined shapes can be imported as images to preserve their appearance.
Figma file management
The add-on has read-only access to Figma files and doesn't modify the original file. Manage pages, frames, layers, and naming in Figma.
Add-on cost
The Figma add-on is available at no additional cost. You need valid Adobe Express and Figma accounts.
