Connect YouTube channel in Adobe Express

Last updated on Aug 19, 2026

Learn how to connect your YouTube channel in Adobe Express for direct publishing.

Prerequisites

Before connecting your YouTube channel in Adobe Express, make sure the following are in place.
  1. A Google account: You need a Google account to access YouTube. This doesn't have to be a Gmail address. You can use any existing email, including Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo, or a custom domain (e.g., contact@yourbrand.com). If you don't have a Google account, you can create one at accounts.google.com using your existing email address.
  2. A YouTube channel under that Google account: A YouTube channel must exist under your Google account before you can connect it to Adobe Express. To create one, go to YouTube > Sign in > select your profile icon, and select Create a channel.
  3. Channel ownership: You must be the channel owner or have manager-level access. This applies to both personal channels and brand accounts.
For organizational YouTube accounts

If an organization manages your Google account, your IT admin may have disabled YouTube access. Contact your IT admin to enable it, or use a personal Google account with a YouTube channel instead.

Connect YouTube

On the Adobe Express homepage, select More > Schedule from the left panel.

Select Connections  .

Select YouTube, and then select Connect. You'll be directed to Google's sign-in page.

Sign in with your Google account when prompted.

Review the permissions requested and select Allow to grant Adobe Express access to view your YouTube account and manage your channel.

Select Continue.

When the connection is complete, a confirmation screen appears. Select Return to Adobe Express to start publishing.

Connection failed error

If you see a Connection failed error after granting permissions, check the following:

  • No YouTube channel exists under your Google account: Create a channel at youtube.com and try again.
  • YouTube disabled by your organization: Contact your IT admin, or sign in with a personal Google account instead.
  • Insufficient channel permissions: Make sure you are the channel owner or manager.
