Create a public view-only link to share your design with anyone. You can delete these links to remove access and make your designs private again.
Create a View-only link
Select Share.
Select View-only link .
Select your View-only link privacy settings to either make it public or private.
Select Create link.
Select Copy link to share.
Tip
After you create the link, the status shows Live or Live: Restricted, depending on your link settings. These settings include Allow others to remix, Show author, and Password protection. Follow along to learn more about each setting.
Link settings
- When you publish a View-only link , your file is open to anyone with the link. It won't be indexed by search engines.
- When you Allow others to remix
, recipients can reuse your file to create their own designs. Your original stays untouched. - When you turn on Password protection
, only people with the password can open the link. If a link is password-protected, remix isn't available. - When you turn on Show author, you can add or remove the author’s name, or display your organization’s name instead.
Viewing experience
When recipients open the link, it launches a polished viewing experience on desktop web and mobile.
Recipients can:
- View the entire file, no sign-in required
- Share the link with others
- Remix the file if Allow others to remix is enabled
To share a file for edits or feedback, send an invite link instead.
Delete a View-only link
You can delete a shared link at any time to remove access immediately. This gives you full control over how your file is distributed. Once a link is deleted, anyone who previously received it can no longer access the file using that URL.
Open the file.
Select Share.
Select View-only link .
Select the Delete icon.
Update a View-only link
Open the file.
Select Share.
When you make changes to your file, we'll detect them automatically and prompt you to update your link. Select Update to republish with the latest version.
