Learn how organization custom templates work in Adobe Express, including permissions and visibility.

Note

This article applies to users who are on Adobe Express Enterprise plans.

Organization custom templates in Adobe Express let organizations share branded or reusable templates. Visibility of these templates depends on sharing permissions and search settings, which determine who can see and use them.

View all custom templates

From the Adobe Express homepage, navigate to Templates in the left panel, and view all custom templates in the Custom templates section.

Custom templates fall into three categories based on how they’re shared:

  • Templates you created: Templates that you create and manage.
  • Templates shared directly with you: Templates that another user shares with you explicitly.
  • Organization-shared templates: Templates shared with everyone in the organization using the permission Everyone at your organization can view and use. These templates display a building icon, indicating organization-level access.
Note

The building icon   indicates that a template is shared with the entire organization with view and use permissions. The icon is based on share access, not on whether the template is searchable. The icon appears next to a template whenever it's shared with everyone in the organization.

Permissions and search

Who can see an organization-shared template depends on their access level and whether search is enabled:

  • Editors: Can see organization-shared templates even if search is disabled.
  • Non-editors: Can see organization-shared templates only if search is enabled.

This behavior applies to all templates, not just admin or featured templates. If a template is shared with everyone but doesn’t appear in Explore, check whether search is enabled.
