Remove background from images

Learn how to remove backgrounds from images in Adobe Express with just a click.
Try it in the app
Remove an image background in one simple step using quick action.
Select the image in your design that you want to remove the background from.
In the left Image panel, select Remove Background. To restore the background, select the image and select Remove Background again.
Note
The tool automatically identifies your subject and removes the background to create a clean cutout. It may also remove fine details or low-contrast areas. Review the cutout and restore anything important before finalizing your image.
Select Download to save the image to your device.
Tip
To download an image with a transparent background, select Background color and use the No fill option, then choose Transparent PNG as the file format when downloading.
