Tapered shape strokes

When you create a shape layer stroke, you can use the new parameters - Taper and Wave to create wavy, pointy, or rounded strokes. You can vary the thickness of the shape strokes, modify the intensity of the tapering, and also animate the appearance of the strokes to create unique graphic elements, and create more expressive shape animations.

For more information, see How to taper shape strokes.

Concentric shape repeater

The Offset Paths shape effect has two new parameters:

  • Copies
  • Copies Offset

Create geometric patterns, and concentric duplicates of shapes using these new parameters. You can use these to create designs with a retro vibe, and mandala patterns.

For more information, see Use Offset Paths shape effect to alter shapes.
