Upload custom fonts

Last updated on Mar 24, 2026

Learn how to upload custom fonts in Adobe Express. This feature is available on Adobe Express Premium, Teams, and Enterprise plans.

Access and permissions

Review the access, permissions, and requirements for uploading custom fonts.

  • Adobe Express supports .otf and .ttf font files up to 512 MB.
  • On Enterprise plans, collaborators may be restricted from editing text that uses fonts uploaded by you. To avoid this, we recommend adding brand fonts in the Admin Console to reduce friction. Learn more about uploading and sharing custom fonts for Enterprise users.
  • Uploading custom fonts is enabled by default for paid Enterprise accounts. If you don't see the Upload button, your admin may have disabled this functionality. You can request access to a custom font from your Enterprise account admin, who will then share the custom font with you through the Admin Console. Read more on how to contact your Adobe administrator.

Add custom fonts

Start by opening a Brand or Library.

Select the add   icon and then select Upload.

The image shows the upload button (gray color) highlighted at the bottom-left corner of the dialog box.
Use the Upload button to browse and upload fonts from your device.

Note

Bulk font uploads aren’t supported. Fonts must be added individually, and duplicate fonts can’t be uploaded if they already exist in the font library.

In the pop-up window, select Add fonts. Browse for a font on your device and select Add. Once you upload a font, it will appear in the Font menu under Uploaded fonts.

Tip

Your use of the Adobe Fonts Service and upload of custom fonts is governed by Adobe’s General Terms of Use. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the proper rights and licenses to use and upload your font to the Adobe Express Services. If it is determined that you do not have the proper rights and licenses to use a font you upload, Adobe may remove the font and replace it with another font or may deactivate your account. Please note that if we replace any font you upload with another font, the design and look of your Adobe Express content may alter.
