Downloading Adobe Creative Cloud products should be very simple. But if you're having trouble, you're in the right place. Try these solutions to resolve common download, install, update, and uninstall problems.

Download and install apps
If this is the first time you're downloading an app, the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application is downloaded and installed on your computer. The CC Desktop application then manages the rest of the installation process. However, if you already have the CC Desktop application installed, it is launched automatically.
1. Visit the Creative Cloud Desktop Apps page.
- Open the CC Desktop application, and in the Apps panel, scroll down to the app to install.
- Click Install.
The app is downloaded and installed on your computer. Depending on your Internet connection, it may take a while for the app to download.

To download and install previous versions of apps, such as CS6, do the following:
- Open the CC Desktop application and go to the Apps panel.
- Filter the apps by Previous Versions.
- Choose a version from the Install menu.
Update your apps to receive new features and bug fixes. The CC Desktop application displays a notification when new updates are available.
If you no longer need an app, you must uninstall it. Do not drag app files and folders to the Trash or Recycle Bin.
For a few apps, such as Gaming SDK, the uninstall from the CC Desktop application feature is not available. To uninstall such apps, use the alternate method described below.
Important: You can have multiple versions of Adobe applications installed at the same time. If you plan to remove a previous version, uninstall the previous version before installing the current version.

You may install software on up to two computers. These two computers can be Windows, Mac OS, or one each.
If you install on a third computer, it will request you to de-activate on the other two computers. You can then reactivate one of the previous two computers, and use Creative Cloud apps on it.
- How do I launch installed apps?
Apps are downloaded and installed on your computer. Click on the app name in the Creative Cloud for desktop app to launch it. See Launch apps after installing.
- How do I install Encore?
With the new subscription model, Encore is no longer updated with the other Creative Cloud apps. While installing these applications, there is no option to download Encore CS6, which is the last version of this program to be available. See the following document to Download and install Encore CS6.
- I can't install the Creative Cloud Desktop application
Creative Cloud for desktop application is only supported on Mac OS 10.6 or later, and Windows 7 or later. If you're downloading an app on an earlier operating system, Adobe Application Manager is used to download and install your app.
Note: Adobe Application Manager is automatically updated to Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app on Mac OS X 10.7 or later, and Windows 7 or later. To check that you have the most current version of the Creative Cloud Desktop application, do the following: From the gear menu, choose Preferences. In the General tab, choose Account.
