Error code 306 indicates that the installation or update failed due to corrupted or incomplete installer files or the installer does not have sufficient access to the destination folder.
Corrupted installer files are preventing the installation
Follow these steps to resolve the error:
Right-click the downloaded ZIP file and select Extract All.
Double-click Set-up.exe in the extracted folder.
If prompted, sign in with your Adobe account to begin the installation.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. Once you have installed the Creative Cloud desktop app, it opens automatically.
Install or update the app again.
Antivirus or security software is blocking the installation
Your antivirus or security software may prevent the installer from creating or modifying required folders.
Temporarily disable your antivirus or security software that may be blocking file changes.
Try to install the app again.
Re-enable your security software after installation completes.
To ensure Adobe applications or installers are not blocked by your security software, you should add them to your antivirus allowlist or exceptions list.
