Change the install location of your Creative Cloud apps

Learn how to change the default install location for installing Creative Cloud apps. Once set, your apps will install in the new location.

The Creative Cloud apps are installed at the default location on your system. However, you can change the install location for your apps using the Creative Cloud desktop app. All apps that you install after making this change will install in the new location.

  1. Open the Creative Cloud desktop app. (Select the   icon in your Windows taskbar or the macOS menu bar.)

  2. Select the Account icon in the upper right, and then select Preferences.

  3. Select Apps in the sidebar. 

  4. Select the edit icon next to Install location and select the location where you want to install your Creative Cloud apps.

  5. Select Done to apply the changes.

Once set, your apps will install in the new location.
