When you install your first app, the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app installs at the same time. You’ll use the desktop app to manage future downloads. Learn how to download and install:

You can install your Adobe app on up to two computers. If you want to install it on a third computer, you'll need to deactivate it on one of your previous machines. See On how many computers can I install my apps.

Learn how to stop Creative Cloud apps from indicating that you’re using a trial version (or that your trial has expired) even though you’ve already purchased a Creative Cloud subscription. See Purchased Creative Cloud apps appear as trial.

• "Creative Cloud Desktop Failed to Install"

• "Error code 1"
• "Error code P1"
• "Error code 50"
• "Error code P50"
• "Error code 1001"
• "Error code 1002"

Find solutions for the error Adobe Creative Cloud, needed to resolve this problem, is missing or damaged.

Find solutions if Creative Cloud apps sign you out or ask you to sign in repeatedly.

Did you get one of the following errors when trying to install or launch a Creative Cloud app:

• Windows updates from Microsoft required to install this product are not available on this computer. Please install the required updates and try again.
• The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

The missing dll is installed with a Windows update. See Error: api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing for more details.

Is the Creative Cloud desktop app stuck loading or initializing? Is it displaying the spinning wheel and one of these messages:

• Loading application seems to be taking longer than usual.
• Creative Cloud seems to be taking longer than usual to initialize.

If you tried relaunching it and are still getting the spinning wheel, try the solutions in CC desktop app doesn't open.

If you are facing issues installing Creative Cloud apps using the Creative Cloud desktop app, try downloading the installers directly.

If you are having trouble installing previous versions of your Creative Cloud apps using the Creative Cloud desktop app, try downloading the installers directly.

On the Creative Cloud desktop application page, click the Download button and follow the onscreen instructions.

If you've purchased an Acrobat subscription or you're a Creative Cloud member, follow the instructions to download and install Acrobat DC on your computer.

If you no longer have the installation media of Acrobat DC (non-subscription, serial number based), try downloading the installer directly.

If you no longer have the installation media of Acrobat 2017, try downloading the installers directly. You need your Acrobat 2017 serial number to complete the installation.

If you purchased an earlier version of Acrobat, but no longer have the installation media, try downloading the installer directly:

• Acrobat X1 or X
• Acrobat 9 or 8.

You can install your product on up to two computers. If you want to move your product to a new computer, simply select Help > Sign Out in the product from one of the computers that has an active license. You can then install the product on your new computer.

Sometimes, Photoshop Elements, Adobe Premiere Elements, and Elements Organizer cannot run on computers that have been upgraded to Windows 10. The applications crash when you try to launch them. See Launch issues on Windows 10 to resolve this issue.

Lightroom 6 (Single app) If you purchased Lightroom 6 as a Single App licensed product (without a Creative Cloud plan), you can download and install Lightroom 6 on your desktop.

Lightroom 5 or earlier  If you purchased Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 or earlier and no longer have the installation media, you can download replacement installers.

Creative Suite 6 If you purchased a retail licensed CS6 product and no longer have the installation media, download replacement CS6 installers.

Creative Suite 5.5  If you purchased a retail licensed CS5.5 product and no longer have the installation media, download replacement CS5.5 installers.

Creative Suite 5 If you purchased a retail licensed CS5 product and no longer have the installation media, download replacement CS5 installers.

If the installer doesn’t start automatically when your download completes, you can start it manually.
