Learn how to troubleshoot Error 403 and restore Adobe app updates when the update process cannot be completed.

Error code 403 occurs when the Creative Cloud desktop app is unable to complete the update check or apply the latest updates. This can happen due to temporary service issues, incomplete update attempts, or network configuration limitations.

Creative Cloud couldn't complete the update

Select the Creative Cloud   icon in the Windows taskbar or the macOS menu bar to open the Creative Cloud desktop app.

In the left sidebar, select Apps, then choose Your apps.

Select Your apps to view all the apps installed on your machine
The Your apps tab only shows apps installed on the current device, helping you focus on managing locally available Adobe apps.

In the Your Apps tab, select Manage updates, then choose Check for updates.

The More actions icon under Installed apps in the Apps tab shows options to enable or manage auto updates and check for updates.
The Updates page displays recently installed app updates and available update options in a single view.

If updates are available, select Update and apply them.
