Can I get XD for free?
Yes! Anyone can get XD for free as part of the Starter plan. The plan includes Adobe XD, 2 GB of Cloud Storage, Adobe Fonts (Basic Library) and up to 1 active shared design spec and 1 active shared prototype. Get XD for free here.
The Starter plan is also available to anyone with an Adobe ID, Enterprise ID, or Federated ID. If you are a Creative Cloud for teams or Creative Cloud for enterprise member and you don't have access to the Creative Cloud desktop app, contact your IT Administrator to obtain access to XD through the Creative Cloud Packager.

How do I download and install Adobe XD?
You can download Adobe XD from the Creative Cloud apps catalog. You'll need to sign in with your Adobe ID and password to complete the download. For more information, including how to install older versions or check for updates, see Download your creative cloud apps.

I am currently using a trial version of Adobe XD. How do I get the Starter plan?
Update XD from the Creative Cloud desktop app or within XD, click Help > Updates. When you update, your trial automatically converts to the free Starter plan for Adobe XD, so you'll continue to have access to XD past the duration of your trial.
If you published one or more prototype or design spec links during your trial, after you update XD, you still have access to these shared links. However you will have to manage your links or upgrade your plan to publish new links.
How do I cancel and what happens to my files and my access to Adobe XD?
If you cancel your membership, you still have access to Creative Cloud member free benefits, any files you saved to your device, and your shared links.
You will automatically move to the Starter plan which includes Adobe XD. However, you will lose the ability to create an unlimited number of prototype and design spec links. You won't have access to your other apps or most services, and your cloud storage will be reduced to 2 GB.
