Reuse assets in projects

Learn how to reuse assets in projects.

Reusing assets helps you save time and avoid recreating from scratch. You can quickly place existing assets from projects into your working file.

Go to File > Place Embedded.

Insert a file into your Photoshop document as a separate layer.

Select Open cloud documents.

Access cloud documents by selecting the “Open cloud documents” option in the file browser window.
Open your cloud documents directly from the file browser.

Navigate to the Projects tab to view all compatible files that can be placed into.

Open the Projects tab in Adobe cloud storage to browse and manage files shared with you.
Access your projects from Adobe cloud storage to view and manage shared files.
