Types of information in Content Credentials

Last updated on Sep 2, 2025

Adobe Content Authenticity (Beta) lets you add important details to your work through Content Credentials, helping ensure transparency and trust in digital content.

Recorder: Content Credentials always list the app or device used to capture the content.

Identity: Add your name and social media accounts to verify your identity.

Creative process: Share how your content was edited, including changes to color, exposure, or cropping, as well as any added elements like files or screenshots.

Generative AI training and usage preference: Specify whether your content can be used to train generative AI models, giving you control over how your work is used.

Applying Content Credentials is optional unless your content was created using Adobe Firefly on the web or via its APIs. You can also view Content Credentials on supported websites, through the Adobe Content Authenticity Chrome extension, or with Adobe’s Inspect tool.
