Turn notifications on or off in Creative Cloud desktop app

Learn how to check for notifications in the Creative Cloud desktop app and turn them on or off.

Creative Cloud notifications are generally updates about your Adobe apps, fonts, events related to your apps and services, messages about collaborated files, messages from fellow community users, and important announcements from Adobe.

In the Creative Cloud desktop app, a red dot appears above the notification  icon to indicate new notifications.

View all notifications by selecting the notifications icon.

Turn notifications on or off

Select the Account icon in the upper right corner, and then select Preferences.

The Account menu drop-down displays options such as Preferences, Sign out, and Privacy policy.
The Preferences dialog box displays multiple options, such as Notifications, Apps, Appearance, etc.

In the sidebar, select Notifications.

The Notifications window on Creative Cloud desktop app displays a variety of notifications that you can choose to receive.
Select the type of notification you’d like to receive in the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Note

In macOS 13 Ventura, you won't receive any Creative Cloud notifications if you've turned off the Adobe Creative Cloud login item in System Settings. Learn how to set up the Adobe Creative Cloud login item. Once you turn it back on, you'll start receiving notifications again.

Select the types of notifications that you want to receive, and then select Done.
