Convert files to cloud documents

Learn how to convert a file to a cloud document using the Creative Cloud desktop app.

You can upload files from Adobe XD, Photoshop, InDesign, Fresco, and Illustrator as cloud documents, along with PDFs, images, and text documents. Once saved, you can view and edit them using the Creative Cloud desktop app and respective Adobe apps.

Convert files to cloud documents in a few simple steps.

Open Creative Cloud

Open the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Select Files > Files .

Select Add and then select Upload.

On the top-right corner of the screen, select the Add icon and then select Upload from the dropdown menu to upload a file from your device. — Use the Add icon in the top-right corner and select the Upload option from the dropdown menu

Browse for a file on your device and then select Open.

For AI, PSD, or XD files, select Continue.

Select the Continue button highlighted in blue color in the lower-right corner of the dialog box to confirm uploading the AI, PSD, and XD files to Creative Cloud. — Use the Continue button on the dialog box to confirm uploading AI, PSD, or XD files

Note

You cannot upload a cloud document using Adobe Home.
