Install plugins and extensions using Creative Cloud desktop app

Learn how to install plugins and extensions for your Creative Cloud apps using the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Before you begin

Make sure that you have installed the Creative Cloud app to which you want to add plugins and extensions. For example, if you are installing an extension for Photoshop, install Photoshop first.

Follow these steps to begin the installation process:

Go to the Stock & Marketplace tab and select Plugins.

Note

The Stock & Marketplace tab may not appear in your Creative Cloud desktop app if you're using a Windows computer with an ARM processor. The tab is currently unavailable on this specific hardware configuration.

Browse or search for the plugin or extension you want to install.

When you search for the plugin or app name, a window showing all the plugins that match your search result will open.

Select Get or open the plugin to learn more.

Plugins window displays all the plugins that match with your search result. Select Get, Buy or Learn more to install plugins.
The installation process will begin once you select Get or purchase the plugin.

Note

Some plugins require you to purchase them. To begin installation, select the displayed price button for these plugins.

Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

Once installed, launch the associated Creative Cloud app to start using the plugin or extension.
