What is multi-layer sampling?
Multi-layer sampling involves sampling pixel data from all visible layers at once rather than a single layer. This approach gives you greater flexibility when retouching or colour-correcting complex projects. It also lets you pull information from the entire image while keeping each layer non-destructive and editable.
This option is handy when:
- Color matching across multiple adjustment and image layers with the Eyedropper tool.
- Retouching with the Healing Brush tool or Clone Stamp tool to blend corrections into the overall composition.
Nota:
Selecting the All Layers option from the Sample dropdown in supported tools gives you more control over how colors and textures are sourced, making your edits more natural and efficient.
