To help XD users during office closures, Adobe is extending unlimited access to sharing and collaboration to all plans until October 2020.

To support you during office closures, starting April 3, 2020 until October 2020, all XD plans, including the Starter plan, have unlimited use of collaboration and sharing features. This includes access to the following premium features:

  • Share links
  • Invite to document

From October 2020, use of premium features will be unlimited on paid plans and available with certain usage limits on the XD Starter plan.

To enable designers to work the way they want to – remotely, online or offline, support for both local and cloud documents is part of all the available plans, even after October.

For more details on what is available in each plan, see Compare plans

For more information about these changes, you can also read our blog Unlimited sharing and collaboration on all plans.

For existing XD users, no additional steps are required. Designers can create any number of links and share any number of documents for Coediting (Beta). For new users, download XD to get started.

Yes; you can refer to Share designs and prototypes and Collaborate and coedit designs for more details.

You can continue to view your shared links. Your shared documents will be available to view and edit for you and anyone with whom you have previously invited.

Users on XD paid plans will continue to have unlimited access to collaboration and share features. However, users on Starter plan will have certain usage limits on collaboration and sharing features as follows:

Features From April 3, 2020-October 2020 From October 2020 onwards*
Active shared documents Unlimited 1
Shared document editors Unlimited
2
Active shared links Unlimited

Local documents Unlimited
Unlimited

Existing shared documents, editors, and shared links count towards your usage limit. You need to move to a paid plan if you want to initiate new collaborations such as adding new collaborators, sharing new documents, or creating new links. For example, if you have five exisiting shared links and want to create a new link, you need to upgrade to a paid plan.
