Learn how to share your camera video with others in Adobe Connect.
The Video pod allows hosts, presenters, and participants (with permission) to share their webcam feeds during the session. It supports multiple video feeds for group discussions or collaborative meetings. The video pod also allows for the display of video views, including grid, speaker-focused, or filmstrip views, to suit the session's needs.

Share camera
Before turning on your camera, preview the camera, adjust the camera position accordingly, and edit video background. If you want to use a different camera, select it from the Camera dropdown.

Select the camera
in the top menu bar. You can preview the camera video, adjust the camera, and set the video background.
To cancel video sharing, click anywhere in the screen.

(Optional) Select a virtual background.

When you're ready to share the video, select Turn camera on.
The camera button and the menu are visible only to attendees with camera permissions. By default, hosts and presenters have the camera permissions. View camera controls for more details.
Change background before joining the session
To change your video background before joining the session, perform the following steps:

Select Turn camera on button to turn camera on.

Select Edit video background.

Select from various images and blur options to change your background.

Select Done.
The Turn camera on and related options on the entry screen are available only if you have permission to share your video.
Change background during a session
All the attendees who have permission to turn on the camera can change the virtual background during the session. To change your video background during the session, perform the following steps:

From the camera dropdown, select Edit video background.

Select any image or apply a blur to an existing background. Select an image from Organizational Backgrounds or Adobe Connect backgrounds to change the background.
Note:The account Admin can set the Organization background images in Adobe Connect Central.

Select Blur to blur your background a little. Select More blur to completely blur your background.

Select Done.
Pause and resume video
Using the video pod, you can pause your camera or all participant's feed.
When paused, the thumbnail last captured appears for all attendees. This can be helpful when you want to conserve bandwidth or are stepping away but still want to show yourself in the video instead of switching the camera off.
- From the Video pod options Pause your camera to pause the camera. , select
- Select Resume your camera to resume the camera.
Pause and resume incoming video
Incoming videos refer to the video feeds shared by other attendees. If you are on a low-bandwidth network, select Pause incoming video to pause incoming videos. This will freeze all videos on your screen, while others will still be able to view the camera feeds on their screens. Deselect the option to start receiving live video again.
