Learn how to clear the data for the Acrobat on Android app.

You can clear Acrobat app data from your Android device settings to restore the default behavior. After the data is cleared, Acrobat resets to its default state. You’ll need to sign in and set up the app again. Clearing app data is not supported on iOS devices.

Caution

Clearing app data permanently deletes the data, including locally stored and unsynced files, app settings, user accounts, databases, and recent file history. Back up any important files to avoid data loss.

Save local files

Go to Acrobat on Android and select Files > On this device.

Select More options> Save a copy for the Adobe Acrobat files you want to save.

On the Select a location page, select Adobe cloud storage or another cloud location.

Select Save in the top-right corner.

Clear app data

Go to the Settings app on your device.

Select Apps > App management > Adobe Acrobat.

Select Storage usage > Clear data.

On the Clear app data? dialog box, select Delete to confirm.
