Use Liquid Mode

Learn how to enable Liquid Mode in Acrobat on mobile.

Liquid Mode dynamically adjusts a PDF's layout for easier reading on phones and tablets. It reflows supported content into a cleaner, more readable format while keeping the original document unchanged.

Note

Liquid Mode does not apply to files with more than 200 pages. Refer to the technical requirements to learn which languages are supported in Liquid Mode.

Open the PDF you want to read.

Select Liquid Mode from the top menu.

Select More options> Text settings from the menu.

Adjust text size, character spacing, and line spacing as needed. Changes apply immediately.

To restore the default settings, select Reset all.

Note

You can share feedback on Liquid Mode at any time. In Liquid Mode, select More options > Provide Feedback on Liquid Mode, rate your experience, add comments if needed, and select Submit.
