Unable to cancel a subscription

Last updated on Jun 9, 2026

Identify and fix the issue if you can't cancel your Acrobat mobile app subscription.

Subscription cancellation issues are often caused by purchasing the subscription through a different platform, signing in with the wrong account, or using an outdated version of the app.

Subscription was purchased through a different platform

Subscriptions must be canceled through the same platform where they were purchased.

In Acrobat on mobile, tap your profile icon and then select Subscriptions.

Tap Manage subscriptions.

If you’re redirected to the App Store, follow the cancellation steps provided by the store.

If you’re not redirected or don't see your subscription, it may have been purchased through Adobe.com or another platform.

For subscriptions purchased from Adobe, sign in to your Adobe Account on the web and manage your subscription there.

Signed in with the wrong account

The account currently signed in may not be associated with the subscription.

In Acrobat on mobile, tap your profile icon and select Subscriptions.

Tap Manage subscriptions.

If the App Store shows no active subscriptions, sign out of Acrobat.

Sign back in with the account used to purchase the subscription.

Try the cancellation process again.

Outdated app version

An older version of Acrobat may not display the cancellation option.

Update Acrobat on mobile from your device's app store.

Open Acrobat on mobile and tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.

Tap Subscriptions > Manage subscriptions.

Multiple subscriptions are active

You may have more than one subscription associated with your account or app store profile.

Review your active subscriptions in the App Store, Google Play, or Adobe account.

Cancel any subscriptions you no longer need.
