Configure usage data and crash reports
Go to Acrobat on Android and tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
Select Preferences.
Locate the Send Usage Info option and enable it.
Locate Send crash reports and choose one of the following options:
- Always: Automatically sends crash reports.
- Ask every time: Prompts to send report after each crash.
- Never: Stops sending crash reports.
When usage data sharing is disabled, Adobe does not collect information about how you use the app. Crash reports may include diagnostic information such as device details, app version, sign-in status, subscription status, and system information.
Generate detailed crash logs
If Adobe Support requests additional diagnostics, you can generate a bug report from Android developer options.
Open the Settings app on your Android device.
Tap About Phone > Build Number.
Tap on the build number six times to enable the developer options.
Tap the back button.
Tap Developer options > Take bug report.
Tap Interactive report > Report.
When the bug report is ready, send the logs, device type, and OS version details to the Acrobat Reader Mobile online forum.
The steps for enabling Developer options may vary by device manufacturer. Refer to your device documentation if these instructions don't match your device.
