Learn how to review and annotate shared PDFs using Acrobat on mobile.

When you receive a review invitation, you can view, comment, and annotate the shared document. Your feedback syncs automatically across all devices and is visible to other reviewers in real time. Offline edits sync when you reconnect.

Note

To view a document, no sign-in is required. However, to add, edit, or delete comments and annotations, you must sign in with your Adobe ID.

Open the app

Open the shared review link in Acrobat on Android and sign in to your Acrobat account if prompted.

Use the following options as needed while reviewing the document:

To comment: Select text, tap Comment , add your feedback, and tap Submit to post it.
To annotate: Tap Highlight , Strikethrough , or Underline , then long-press and drag over the text. Tap checkmark to save.
To edit annotations: Tap the annotation and use the dialog box options to change color, reply, or delete.
To add freehand markups: Tap Draw , make the drawing using one finger. Tap checkmark to save.

To remove yourself from the review, select More options > Remove me from the menu.

Open the shared review link in Acrobat on iOS and sign in to your Acrobat account if prompted.

Use the following options as needed while reviewing the document:

To annotate: Tap Highlight , Strikethrough , or Underline , then long-press and drag over the text. Tap anywhere outside the selection to apply the annotation.
To edit annotations: Tap the annotation and use the dialog box options to change color, reply, or delete.
To add freehand markups: Tap Draw and draw using one finger.

Tap Done to save the changes.
