Remove a manual override and extract the attribute value again from the source file.
Use re-extraction when you no longer want to use your manually entered value. Analyzer removes the override and runs extraction again for that attribute and file.
Before you begin
Make sure:
- You have access to the collection containing the file.
- The file has at least one manually overridden attribute value.
Re-extract an overridden value
Open the file for review.
Locate the attribute you want to re-extract.
Select the ellipsis next to the attribute value.
Select Re-extract value.
Confirm the re-extraction.
What happens after you re-extract a value
After you re-extract:
- Analyzer replaces your manually entered value with a newly extracted value.
- The attribute is no longer marked as manually overridden.
- Other overridden attributes on the same file remain unchanged until you explicitly re-extract them.
When to re-extract a value
Re-extract when:
- You no longer want to use a manual correction.
- You overrode the wrong attribute.
- You entered the wrong replacement value.
- Extraction settings have changed and you want the value to reflect the latest extraction behavior.
