Download extracted attribute values as a CSV file for analysis, reporting, or sharing.
After attribute values are extracted, export them from selected documents as needed.
The export generates a CSV file containing the selected attributes and their values, along with available attribution information and explanations.
Before you begin
- The documents must contain extracted attributes.
- You must select at least one document.
- Only selected documents and selected attributes are included in the export.
- Exporting does not modify documents, attributes, or collections.
Export attributes from selected documents
-
-
Select one or more documents.
-
In the Document Attributes panel, select the ellipsis (…) and choose Export extracted data.
-
The Export extracted data panel opens.
All attribute groups are displayed, with individual attributes nested within them.
Select the attributes you want to export.
-
Select Export after selecting the desired attributes.
-
A confirmation message indicates that the export is in progress.
The CSV file is downloaded to your local system.
What the export includes
The exported CSV file contains:
- One row per selected document.
- One column per selected attribute.
- The extracted value for each attribute.
- Attribution information, if available.
- Explanations, if available.
Why a value might be missing:
- If an attribute does not contain a value for a document, the corresponding field appears empty in the CSV file.
- Overridden values do not include attribution or explanation details.
The export reflects the document selection at the time you start the export.
When to export attributes
Export extracted attributes when you need to:
- Share extracted data with teammates.
- Compare attribute values with another system of record.
- Build reports or dashboards.
- Feed data into automated downstream workflows.
- Analyze values across multiple documents in one place.
Exporting provides a structured format while preserving the original documents and extracted results.
