Open the collection that contains the attributes you want to export.
Export extracted attribute values to a CSV file for analysis, reporting, sharing, or use in another workflow.
After Analyzer extracts attribute values, you can export selected documents and attributes. The CSV can include extracted values along with available attribution information and explanations.
Before you begin
Make sure:
- The documents contain extracted attributes.
- You select at least one document.
- Only the documents and attributes you select are included in the export.
Exporting does not modify the documents, attributes, or collections.
Export extracted attributes
Select one or more documents.
In the Document Attributes panel, select the ellipsis, and then choose Export extracted data.
In the Export extracted data panel, select the attributes you want to include.
Attributes are organized by attribute group, with the individual attributes nested within each group.
Select Export.
A confirmation message indicates that the export is in progress. When processing finishes, the CSV file downloads to your local system.
Understand the exported CSV
The CSV contains:
- One row for each selected document.
- One column for each selected attribute.
- The extracted value for each attribute.
- Attribution information, when available.
- Explanations, when available.
Missing values
If an attribute has no extracted value for a document, the corresponding CSV field is empty.
Overridden values
Manually overridden values are included in the export, but they do not include attribution or explanation details.
The export reflects the selected documents and their attribute values at the time you start the export.
When to export attributes
Export extracted attributes when you need to:
- Analyze values across multiple documents.
- Share extracted data with teammates.
- Compare extracted values with another system of record.
- Build reports or dashboards.
- Use extracted data in downstream workflows.
Exporting gives you a structured copy of the extracted results without changing the source documents or the values stored in Analyzer.
