Issue: When you click the Download button on creative.adobe.com, you receive an error.
For example, "[Browser] doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (aam) isn't associated with any program."
Solution: Reset AAM file detection.
Windows:
- Close the browser.
- Navigate to C:\users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\
- Rename the OOBE folder to OOBE.old.
- Restart the browser.
- Download and install Creative Cloud Desktop application from Creative Cloud.
Note: Some folders in this path are hidden. To reveal them, see Show hidden files, folders, filename extensions
Mac OS:
- Close the browser.
- Navigate to //Library/Internet Plug-Ins/.
- Remove AdobeAAMDetect.plugin.
- Restart the browser.
- Download and install Creative Cloud Desktop application from Creative Cloud.
