Select Lightroom tab > Camera icon.
Select High Dynamic Range from the capture mode menu.
Select the More icon > Setting icon and turn on Save Unprocessed Original if you want to keep both the processed HDR file and the original unprocessed images.
Hold your device steady, frame your scene, and then select the Capture button.
Adjust the following settings as needed:
- Exposure: Adjust the brightness of a photo by controlling how much light reaches the camera sensor.
- White Balance: Correct the color tone of a photo by adjusting for different lighting conditions.
- AUTO: Automatically set camera parameters such as exposure and white balance based on the scene.
- Reset: Restore the settings to their default values.
Select the Exit icon to exit the camera and begin processing.
Processing your HDR capture is GPU-intensive and computationally complex. To check processing status, select the Cloud icon and view progress under Processing Captured Photos. After processing completes, your HDR images appear in the photos view or grid view. When you open an HDR image for editing, the filename includes '-hdr' in the Info panel.
HDR processing requires Adobe Lightroom on iOS to remain running in the foreground. Don't minimize or close the app, and keep your device on and unlocked. For multiple HDR captures, connect your device to power and turn on Prevent From Sleep in the app settings.
