Add Vignette effects
Select a video to open it in Detail view.
Select Edit > Effects icon.
Select Vignette and drag the Vignette slider to any value to enable the adjustment sliders.
Hold and drag the following sliders to draw attention toward the center of your video:
- Vignette: Controls the intensity of the vignette effect, darkening or lightening the edges of the video.
- Midpoint: Determines how far the vignette extends from the corners, affecting a larger or smaller area.
- Roundness: Adjusts the shape of the vignette, making it more oval or more circular.
- Feather: Controls the softness of the vignette edges, creating a harder or smoother transition.
- Highlights: Preserves highlight contrast when applying a darkening vignette, especially useful for small light sources.
The Highlights slider is accessible only with lower Vignette slider values.
Add Grain effects
Select a video to open it in Detail view.
Select Edit > Effects .
Select Grain and drag the Amount slider to any value to enable the adjustment sliders.
Drag the Amount slider to add film grain texture to your video—higher values increase grain visibility.
Hold and drag the following sliders to add realistic film grain for a vintage or analog look:
- Amount: Control the amount, size, and roughness of the grain effect of a video.
- Size: Controls the size of grain particles, with larger values (25 or higher) adding blue to improve compatibility with noise reduction.
- Roughness: Controls the uniformity of the grain, making it more consistent or more uneven and organic.
