Keep your photo library organized and accurate by updating location information directly in Lightroom on mobile. You can search for and assign a new location to a photo, making it easier to manage, search, and group images based on where they were captured.
Edit photo location on iPhone
Select the More icon, and then select Info and rating.
In the Info and rating panel, scroll to Maps view to check the current location.
To edit location metadata, select Edit location.
In the Search for a location field, enter a city, landmark, or address.
Select the desired location from the search results.
Review the location pin placement on the map.
Select the Done icon to apply the location information to the photo.
Edit photo location on iPad
Select a photo to open it in Detail view.
Select the Info and rating icon.
In the panel that appears, check Maps view for current location.
To edit location metadata, select Edit location.
In the Search for a location field, enter a city, landmark, or address.
Select the desired location from the search results.
Review the location pin placement on the map.
Select the Done icon to apply the location information to the photo.
Lightroom updates the photo with the selected location metadata and displays the updated information in the Location tab of Info and rating panel.
The Maps view is available only for photos with location information. If a photo doesn't have location information, you can still add it by selecting Edit location, and then selecting the desired location.
