Adjust white balance and color settings manually
Select a video to open it in Detail view.
Select Edit > Color .
In the Color panel, hold and drag the sliders to refine colors:
- Temp: Make the video cooler (more blue) or right to make it warmer (more yellow).
- Tint: Add green tones or add magenta tones.
- Vibrance: Increase the intensity of muted colors in your video without oversaturating already-vibrant colors.
- Saturation: Increase or decrease the intensity of all colors uniformly throughout your video.
After adjusting White balance, Vibrance, and Saturation, you can convert your video to black and white by selecting the B&W option, which removes color while preserving tonal detail.
Apply color grading to tonal ranges
Select a video to open it in Detail view.
Select Edit > Color .
In the Color panel, select Grading .
In the Color grading panel, select a tonal range to adjust the following:
- Shadows: Adjust color and tone in the darkest areas of the image.
- Midtones: Adjust color and tone in the middle brightness range of the image.
- Highlights: Adjust color and tone in the brightest areas of the image.
- Global: Apply color adjustments uniformly across the entire image.
To change tonal range settings, do one of the following:
- Drag the circular pointer inside the color wheel in any direction to select a Hue for the selected tonal range.
- Drag the circular pointer outside the color wheel, around the edge, to increase or decrease Saturation.
You can also adjust Hue and Saturation settings using the sliders in the Color grading panel.
Hold and drag the Blending and Balance sliders to manage the transition smoothness between Shadows, Midtones, and Highlights.
Adjust the Luminance slider to control the overall brightness of the applied color grade.
Select Done.
Fine-tune individual colors
Select a video to open it in Detail view.
Select Edit > Color .
In the Color panel, select Color mix .
In the Color mix panel, select one of the color channels and adjust these properties:
- Hue: Shift the selected color's tone.
- Saturation: Make the color more muted or more vibrant.
- Luminance: Make the color darker or brighter.
Select Done.
To convert your video to black and white, toggle the B&W option in the Color panel.
