Learn how to use swipe gestures in the Info and rating panel to apply star ratings and mark flags.
Flagging and rating photos help you quickly organize and identify your best work within your photo library.
Rate photos using swipe gestures
On the left half of the image, swipe slowly up or down to adjust the star rating.
View the rating overlay that appears as you swipe to see the current rating.
In the filmstrip, select the next photo and repeat the process.
Flag photos using swipe gestures
Select a photo to open it in Detail view, and then select Info .

View the flag overlay that appears as you swipe to cycle through Picked , Unflagged , and Rejected .

The Info and rating panel also displays Metadata for your photos and provides fields to add a Title, Caption, Copyright, and Keywords. You can also view the GPS map location for photos that include location data.
After you’ve organized your library with ratings and flags, use the filter options to display specific groups of photos.
