Waiting for Settings dialog when creating versions
Resolve the dialog by resetting and restoring your preferred version edits.
When working with named versions in Lightroom on iOS, after selecting a photo with saved versions, a "Waiting for Settings" dialog appears and persists, blocking access to the image’s edit history. The dialog does not resolve automatically, and you cannot apply previously saved versions or continue editing the photo.
The following solution addresses this issue by resetting the photo and restoring your preferred version:
Your named versions and auto-saved versions remain intact in the cloud. Resetting the photo only clears the current state and allows version access.
After applying your preferred version, the photo should display correctly with all edits restored. If the issue persists across multiple photos, ensure your app is up to date and that you have a stable internet connection for syncing version data.
