Adjust white balance
Select a photo to open it in Detail view.
Select Edit > Color .
In the Color panel, select one of the following White balance options from the drop-down menu:
- As Shot: Uses the white balance settings captured by the camera.
- Auto: Automatically adjusts white balance for a neutral look.
- Custom: Lets you manually adjust white balance settings using panel sliders.
You can also select the White balance selector icon to automatically correct temperature and tint. Select the White balance selector icon, drag the circle to a neutral area in your photo, and then select Done .
Adjust Color settings manually
Select a photo to open it in Detail view.
Select Edit > Color .
In the Color panel, hold and drag the sliders to refine colors:
- Temp: Determines the image's warmth or coolness.
- Tint: Adjusts the balance between green and magenta tones.
- Vibrance: Enhances or reduces the intensity of muted colors while preserving skin tones.
- Saturation: Controls the overall intensity of all colors in the photo.
After adjusting White balance, Vibrance, and Saturation, you can convert your photo to black and white by selecting the B&W option, which removes color while preserving tonal detail.
Fine-tune individual colors
Select a photo to open it in Detail view.
Select Edit > Color.
In the Color panel, select Mix .
In the Color mix panel, select one of the color channels.
Select and drag the following sliders to adjust the selected color:
- Hue: Shift the selected color's tone.
- Saturation: Make the color more muted or more vibrant.
- Luminance: Make the color darker or brighter.
Select Done.
Fine-tune colors from photos
Select a photo to open it in Detail view.
Select Edit > Color .
In the Color panel, select Mix .
In the Color mix panel, select the Target adjustment icon.
Select an option from HUE, SATURATION, or LUMINANCE.
Select an area in the photo you want to edit the color from, using your finger.
Hold and drag in any direction to adjust its settings.
Select the Target adjustment icon to go back to Color mix panel, and then select Done.
Apply Color Grading to tonal ranges
Select a photo to open it in Detail view.
Select Edit > Color .
In the Color panel, select Grading .
Select a color grading control to adjust the following:
A. Shadows B. Midtones C. Highlights D. Global
- Shadows: Adjust color and tone in the darkest areas of the photo.
- Midtones: Adjust color and tone in the middle brightness range of the photo.
- Highlights: Adjust color and tone in the brightest areas of the photo.
- Global: Apply color adjustments uniformly across the entire photo.
To change tonal range settings, do one of the following:
- Select and drag the circular pointer inside the color wheel to select a Hue for the selected tonal range.
- Select and drag the circular pointer outside the color wheel to increase or decrease Saturation.
You can also adjust Hue and Saturation settings using the sliders in the Color Grading panel. Select the Accordion and then hold and drag the sliders to make adjustments.
Hold and drag the Blending and Balance sliders to manage the transition smoothness between Shadows, Midtones, and Highlights.
Adjust the Luminance slider to control the overall brightness of the applied color grade.
Select Done.
To reset or copy Grading settings, select More in the Color grading panel, and then select the desired option.
