Learn how to organize, import, and filter profile groups to streamline your editing workflow.
Profile management lets you control which profile groups appear in your editing menu and add custom profiles from external sources. Organizing your profiles reduces clutter and helps you find the right look faster.
Filter profiles by type
Select Edit > Profiles .
In the Profiles panel, select Options .
Select a profile viewing option to filter the displayed profiles:
- Show All Profiles: Displays all available profiles.
- Show Only Color: Displays only color profiles.
- Show Only B&W: Displays only black-and-white profiles.
Show or hide profile groups
Select a photo to open it in Detail view.
Select Edit > Profiles .
In the Profiles panel, select the Options icon, and then select Manage Profiles.
In the Manage Profiles panel, toggle on the profile groups you want to display, and toggle off any groups you want to hide.
Use Manage Profiles to access Legacy Adobe Lightroom profile groups, which are hidden by default.
Select the Done icon to save your settings.
Import profiles from cloud storage or your device
Select a photo to open it in Detail view.
Select Edit > Profiles .
In the Profiles panel, select the Options icon, and then select Import Profiles.
Browse to Google Drive or any folder on your device.
Select the profiles you want to import. You can select individual .dcp or .xmp files, or select .zip files containing multiple profiles.
The imported profiles appear in the Profiles panel under the appropriate group.
Custom profiles sync across all devices where you use Adobe Lightroom with the same account, keeping your favorite looks available wherever you edit.
