Learn how to use the Share menu to transfer photos between Lightroom and Photoshop for advanced editing.
This workflow lets you use the advanced editing capabilities of Adobe Photoshop on your photos while keeping them organized in Adobe Lightroom. This feature is available on iOS devices with 4 GB RAM or more, including iPad 10th Gen and newer, iPad Air 4th Gen and newer, iPad Mini 6th Gen and newer, and iPad Pro 2nd Gen and newer.
Select Share .
Select Edit in Photoshop.
Make your edits in Photoshop on the iPad.
Select Send to Lightroom in the top panel to return the edited photo to Lightroom.
The edited photo appears in your Lightroom library alongside the original.
Note
iPhone models XS/XS MAX and newer (excluding iPhone XR and SE2) also support this workflow, though Photoshop on iPad is optimized for larger iPad screens.
