Learn how to use AI-powered automatic correction to instantly level crooked photos.
The Fix angle tool in Actions uses AI to automatically detect the natural horizon line or key structural elements in your image and applies the optimal rotation to straighten the frame.
The Fix angle tool provides instant automatic correction. For manual control over straightening and perspective adjustments, use the Crop and geometry tool instead.
Select Actions > Fix angle .
Lightroom analyzes the photo and automatically straightens the frame.
Note
After Fix angle applies the correction, the straightened photo includes automatic cropping to remove any empty areas created by the rotation. Select and hold the photo to see a Before view and compare the original angle with the corrected version. If the automatic correction doesn’t match your creative vision, re-select the Fix angle icon to Undo fix angle.
